On behalf of our partner, active in the Pharma / Life Sciences / Chemistry / Sciences sector, we are looking for a maintenance technician with an apprenticeship in a technical trade. The position is based at the Chavornay site, in the canton of Vaud, within a demanding industrial and scientific environment. The main mission is to ensure the availability and reliability of equipment, while respecting the quality requirements specific to the chemical sector.
Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment and infrastructure in accordance with internal procedures and manufacturer recommendations established by the company.
- Perform fault diagnostics and repair interventions on industrial installations, ensuring production downtime is minimised.
- Record interventions carried out in the SAP ERP and ensure the administrative follow-up of maintenance work according to current documentary standards.
- Place orders for spare parts when necessary to guarantee the availability of critical components for future interventions.
- Occasionally manufacture mechanical parts on conventional turning and milling machines, respecting specified plans and tolerances.
- Ensure the safety of installations, colleagues, and interventions by strictly applying vital maintenance rules and internal instructions.
Profile
- Purchaser diploma or equivalent training
- Several years of experience as a purchaser
- Proficiency with IT tools used in purchasing processes
- Knowledge of product markets
- Negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Initiative, sense of responsibility, and ease in communication
- Good oral and written knowledge of German and English
