In this role, you have the opportunity to help shape the planning and realisation of the SBB's largest procurement project – for the next generation of double-decker trains for long-distance travel. What you will achieve.

• As a commercial project manager, you are responsible for the commercial aspects of procuring new rail vehicles for SBB passenger transport.
• You are responsible for the commercial terms of the tender and the works supply contract, such as remuneration, securities, lifecycle costs, warranties, insurance coverage, etc.
• In the first project phase, the focus is on preparing the requirements and tender documents; subsequently on clarifying and evaluating the offers.
• During the realisation phase, you ensure the consistent implementation of the commercial terms according to the works supply contract. In the event of contract changes and disputes with the supplier, you independently prepare the relevant foundational documents and present them within the project organisation for decision-making.
• You work closely with internal and external specialists and ensure that their concerns are appropriately considered in the works supply contract.

• In a complex environment, you quickly gain a good overview, possess great determination, and demonstrate successful negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• You have experience as a project manager in a commercial environment, ideally in procurement projects.
• For this position, we require a technical or business degree at FH/University level.
• Fluent spoken and written German skills are required. You are able to independently draft contract amendments in German. Additional language skills in English and/or French are an advantage.
