What you can contribute to

• Collaborate on all work related to the project to establish a survey on the prevalence of gender-based violence, according to the Istanbul Convention of the Council of Europe
• Actively participate in all stages of the survey production (from data collection through processing, analysis and dissemination), as well as independently managing ad hoc requests
• Work with the polling institute commissioned for the first survey cycle and, in view of the second cycle, contribute to the official public tender process to select a polling institute
• Actively support the project manager in responding to any special thematic requests within the area of expertise and maintain ongoing contacts with both data providers and users of the results, public or private institutions, and the media

What makes you unique

• Advanced degree in social sciences or psychology with good knowledge of law and/or additional training in criminology, statistics or related to the theme of violence
• Good IT skills and proficiency with statistical tools and practical experience with data analysis (e.g. R, Python)
• Experience in project management, with good command of classic management tools and excellent organisational skills, an advantage
• Developed communication, analytical and writing skills

In a few words

You contribute to building a new survey on the prevalence of gender-based violence in close collaboration with the project manager. You thus participate in the implementation of the Istanbul Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence, adopted by Switzerland.
