- You will further develop our COBOL applications and optimise them for more efficient logistical processes in the Transport Management System (TMS)
- Together with the specialist departments, you will implement adjustments and extensions, thereby improving transport-specific processes
- You will keep a close eye on performance optimisation and a stable system landscape in the transport sector of the Planzer Group
- You will seamlessly integrate new functions and interfaces into the TMS and ensure smooth communication with shipping solutions and middleware
- Technical documentation, testing and code reviews are also part of your responsibilities
- You will actively contribute to technological modernisation – whether it is migrating legacy code or introducing new technologies
- You will actively participate in specialist meetings and can contribute your ideas and perspectives with commitment
- Analytical thinking, organisational talent and an independent, process-oriented way of working characterise you
- You are a team player with a sense of responsibility, initiative and convincing communication skills
- You approach challenges in a solution-oriented and pragmatic manner – methodical thinking is your strength
- You are familiar with agile working processes such as SCRUM and KANBAN, and tools like DevOps are part of your daily work
- You are knowledgeable in databases (DB2 and SQL) and design queries and data structures efficiently
- Programming with COBOL is in your blood
- You communicate confidently in German, both spoken and written, and English skills are a plus
