About the job
Your Missions
Directly reporting to the Simulation Manager and working closely with the development teams, you will be responsible for the numerical validation of structures:
Numerical Simulation: Perform advanced finite element (FEA/FEM) calculations on complex mechanical assemblies, machined parts, and piping systems.
Dimensioning: Carry out analytical sizing of components and conduct detailed analysis of their mechanical behaviour.
Fatigue Analysis: Conduct material fatigue and durability studies, relying on expert knowledge of metal behaviour.
Critical Rigour: Critically analyse your own simulation results, identify areas for improvement, and propose concrete optimisations.
Reporting: Document all your analyses exhaustively and rigorously, and write technical summary reports.
Your Profile
Education & Orientation: Mechanical Engineer by training, you are exclusively specialised in simulation and calculation (this position is not focused on design/CAD).
Experience: You have proven experience of around 5 years in the field of FEM simulation.
Tools: You have excellent command of software, necessarily ANSYS or ABAQUS. Experience with NX software is a significant advantage.
Languages: You are fully fluent in French for technical exchanges with the team and have an excellent level of English, essential for independently writing reports.
Interpersonal Skills: You become autonomous quickly, are rigorous, and possess a strong analytical mindset.
