Job Description
Our client is an internationally active, highly specialised Swiss technology company and a leading quality provider of security and surveillance solutions in Toggenburg. To bridge a personnel transition phase and ensure smooth export processing, we are looking for an experienced, independent, and assertive personality as a Specialist in Foreign Trade & Export (m/f/d) on a part-time basis of 40%–60% starting mid-October 2026.
Your main tasks
- Export & Import processing: Responsibility for the efficient, timely, and compliance-compliant handling of all export and import processes
- Customs & shipping documents: Independent creation, review, and maintenance of all relevant documents (e.g. Passar / e-dec, certificates of origin, authentications) including audit-proof filing
- Order processing in ERP: Support of end-to-end order processing in the ERP system from quotation to invoicing while ensuring high data quality
- Interface & logistics management: Proactive coordination with internal departments, external partners, carriers, and logistics service providers
- Cost control: Monitoring transport costs, checking transport invoices, and ensuring transparent processes

Qualifications
What you bring
- Education: Commercial basic training, ideally supplemented by targeted further training in foreign trade/export/import or logistics
- Experience: Several years of solid professional experience in operational export and import processing in an international environment
- Expertise: Very good practical knowledge of Swiss customs and export documents (e-dec etc.) as well as proficient ERP user skills
- Languages: Confident German skills and very good English in spoken and written form for international correspondence
- Working style: High degree of independence, quick comprehension for rapid familiarisation, strong quality orientation, and calmness during peak phases
