Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Your responsibilities

• Carry out routine and periodic maintenance work on heavy goods vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical repairs
• Provide breakdown assistance if necessary
• Complete intervention reports and ensure follow-up of work carried out
• Ensure compliance with current safety and quality standards

Your profile

• Federal VET Diploma as a heavy vehicle mechanic, commercial vehicle mechanic or equivalent training
• Proven experience in heavy vehicle mechanics (minimum 2–3 years preferred)
• Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics and electricity
• Ability to diagnose independently
• Organisational skills, thoroughness and reliability
• Team spirit and autonomy
• Category C driving licence (an advantage)
• Resident less than 30 minutes from Payerne
