Role:

In clinical everyday life, the software must simply work. As Application Manager Clinical Information Systems, you ensure that the clinical information system (CIS) runs stably and develops purposefully. Complex error patterns intrigue you more than they deter you. With technical depth and process understanding, you become the central contact person between specialist departments, manufacturers, and IT.

Responsibilities:

• You plan releases, updates, and technical changes and coordinate integration, regression, and acceptance tests until clean production deployment.

• You administer and configure the CIS and continuously optimise modules as well as the mapping of clinical processes.

• In the case of complex incidents, you analyse logs, system messages, and data flows and escalate specifically to the manufacturer’s 3rd-level support.

• Furthermore, you monitor the interfaces to subsystems such as RIS, laboratory, archiving, and PACS.

• You translate requests from medicine and administration into clear specifications and support key users during tests and adjustments.

• Additionally, you take on technical subprojects and migrations and document systems and processes comprehensibly in Confluence.

Qualifications:

• You have a degree in computer science or business informatics (HF/FH) or an equivalent background.

• You have at least 3 years of experience in application management of a CIS or a similar healthcare application.

• You are familiar with the operation and lifecycle management of business-critical applications from practice, as well as ITIL-related processes such as incident and change management.

• Interface standards such as HL7 are ideally familiar to you, and you analyse dependencies between databases, infrastructure, and applications in a structured manner.

• Furthermore, you are confident in requirements engineering and understand processes such as patient administration and service recording.

• Moreover, you present yourself reliably to suppliers, formulate precisely in German, and use English confidently in communication with software manufacturers.
