The Migration Department supports refugees in creating prospects. Services include accommodation, support within social assistance, as well as support for linguistic and professional integration. Our experts also advise detainees who must leave Switzerland.

To strengthen our team at the Biel site, we are looking for a committed and empathetic person for the position of:

Your tasks

• You coach and accompany refugees, especially during the application process and in the search for employment or apprenticeships.
• You are the first point of contact for companies and employers.
• You are responsible for finding trial days, internships as well as training places and jobs on the primary labour market.
• You coordinate professional integration in collaboration with the social workers responsible for cases in the Case Management Integration (CMI) sector.
• You are responsible for administration, controlling and reporting in accordance with instructions.
• You are actively involved in the development of the "Placement and Coaching" sector and work in working groups.

Your profile

• You have completed vocational training, ideally supplemented by further training in recruitment, coaching or professional integration.
• You have several years of experience in personnel placement, recruitment or the development and maintenance of relationships with companies.
• You know the regional labour market as well as the needs of employers and quickly identify suitable placement opportunities.
• Ideally, you have an established network of employers in the Bernese Seeland and Jura region.
• You have solid experience in acquiring jobs, internships and training places as well as in successfully placing candidates with employers.
• Ideally, you have experience in the field of professional integration and/or asylum and refugees.
• You possess excellent knowledge of French (minimum level C1) as well as good knowledge of German (level B1).
• You distinguish yourself by excellent communication and negotiation skills, a professional appearance as well as a strong customer and service orientation.
• You work independently, in a structured and proactive manner, take responsibility and enjoy maintaining long-term relationships with companies and various partners.
