My client is an international company headquartered in Lausanne. To strengthen their Global HR team, we are currently looking for a Compensation & Benefits Manager.
My client is a mid-sized company, based in Lausanne.
Reporting to the Global Head of HR, this role focuses on designing, improving and implementing global C&B strategy which are aligned with business objectives.
This role is both hands-on and strategic and requires a pragmatic and flexible profile with strong interpersonal and technical skills.
Description
- Lead the global annual merit and bonus process for senior management, including collection of recommendations, consolidation for review, and communication of approvals
- Implement and manage a global compensation planning and reporting database tool for compensation processes, deferred and long-term incentive compensation tracking and ad hoc reporting
- Liaise with finance to manage the annual global compensation reconciliation, accruals and bonus pool
- Implement solid processes to ensure data accuracy in HR Systems
- Define and implement a global job architecture and evaluation system as well as bench-marking methodologies and tools
- Design, implement and update global compensation, benefits and global mobility policies, guidelines and processes
- Provide guidance to Managers and HRBPs on the global mobility process, ensuring compliance with global policies
- Administer the Company's Management Stock Plan in collaboration with legal and finance
- Manage and improve the global benefits programs, including the global pension plan, health and life insurance
- Oversee local compensation and benefits practices in Group companies in close collaboration with HRBPs and ensure compliance and alignment
- Conduct global market analysis, compensation bench-marking, and surveys to ensure the company remains competitive for acquiring and retaining talent
Profile
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or general business
- Proven track record in design, analysis and administration of compensation programs and processes within an international context
- Extensive knowledge of global labour market trends, data bench-marking and global job evaluation methodologies
- Strong analytical and research skills in analysing complex data and making decisions based on findings
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated competences in managing and thriving effectively large and complex projects and multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office Suite and important experience in compensation planning and data analytics tools
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills in identifying and addressing issues related to compensation
- Financial acumen and knowledge with ability to support financial processes and work with financials
- Ability to influence and communicate complex compensation information with all levels of stakeholders in the organisation, from Executive Management to operational levels across multiple cultures
- Proven collaborative skills to work with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships across different regions
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
