The practical training PrA according to INSOS is aimed at people with learning difficulties who are interested in a job in the gastronomy and kitchen sector.In the kitchen and catering area, you support the cook in the preparation of all kinds of dishes. Your tasks include preparing and readying fruit, vegetables and salads as well as desserts and cold dishes. Tidying/cleaning tasks, as well as operating kitchen appliances, are part of your responsibilities.

Activities
As a trainee / in the kitchen, you work in a team or alone under the guidance of experienced and well-trained professionals.
- Plating simple dishes
- Processing fresh food
- Checking exact quantity and preparation instructions
- Assisting in the preparation of various menus
- Operating devices and kitchen machines
- Cleaning tasks, implementation of hygiene and safety measures
Duration of training: 2 years (basic and advanced year) with vocational training at the workplace and internal vocational school (learning portal)
Qualification / Certificate: Trainee / In Kitchen (Diploma according to INSOS)
