In order to strengthen our Quality Department in Marly, we are recruting a:

Job Description – Main activities:

· Support material manufacturing ISO 9001 certification and continuous improvement efforts.

· Support quality team efforts to comply with 3D Systems QMS requirements.

· Perform routine material quality measurements, input data, and maintain accurate records of tests on worksheets and computer files.

· Perform incoming measurements and quality tasks as required to receive/release material shipments.

· Review performance data using statical analysis techniques to evaluate trends and discrepancies; interpret results and historical data to ensure the product meets customer requirements.

· Perform weekly calibration checks on lab instruments and records data.

· Provide instructions to production personnel regarding adjustments to batches as needed.

· Retain samples in an organized manner.

· Assist with maintaining consumable levels related to lab operations.

· Develop, revise, and implement procedures in support of quality initiatives.

· Develop, revise, and provide customer or supplier facing documentation.

· Support the new product introduction process.

· Support the change management and change qualification process.

· Investigate internal and external non-conformances.

· Perform root cause analysis and execute risk mitigation actions.

· Execute investigative procedures and processes to support quality initiatives.

· Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor while interacting with fellow team members.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Work independently with minimal supervision.

· Experience with laboratory chemical analysis skills and techniques.

· Experience with measuring tools and instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauge, etc.

· Experience with problem-solving skills and processes.

· Ability to react quickly to quality issues providing containment, solutions, and closure in a timely manner.

· Ability to perform unit conversion and other calculations related to material formulations.

· Must be hands-on with inspections, providing solutions to issues.

· Lean manufacturing / continuous improvement experience a plus.

· Ability to travel to support business needs as needed (less than 10%).

Education and Training:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related scientific field.

· Experience with analytical tools such as Access, Excel, or similar. Experience with technical computing software such as Minitab is a plus.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with applied experience in a team environment.

Experience:

At least 2-3 years of related experience.

Required language skills: Fluent French.

Fluency in English is mandatory.
