We are seeking a seasoned Senior HR Operations Specialist with a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in human resources operations and a strong proficiency in Oracle HR systems. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our HR processes, leveraging their extensive expertise to ensure the smooth functioning of our HR operations.

Reporting to the HR Operations Manager based in Geneva and part of a team of 6, the HR Operations Specialist is responsible for the employee lifecycle in Switzerland and other European locations (+5 countries / + 1000employees) with strong focus on quality and process improvement.

 

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle administration for Switzerland and offices abroad, including onboarding, transfers, and offboarding processes.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for employees.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to Oracle HR systems.
  • Provide end-user support, including conducting training sessions and creating documentation, to ensure effective utilization of Oracle HR systems across the organization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline HR operations, leveraging Oracle HR functionalities to automate repetitive tasks and minimize manual interventions.
  • Analyze existing HR processes and workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor key HR metrics and indicators to assess process effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance in HR operations.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation in alignment with legal requirements and organizational standards.
  • Support audits and reviews to monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Provide support for internal and international mobility processes.
  • Assist in coordinating employee relocations and expatriate assignments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent, Business Administration, or related field.
  • About your profile Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle HR modules (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management) is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data, identify trends, and formulate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving HR initiatives, process improvements, and compliance initiatives.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive HR information.
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss employment law
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, German would be a strong asset.
