Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Partner Development Manager to foster strategic
relationships. This role drives business growth by identifying, negotiating, and
implementing impactful business development agreements. The ideal candidate
possesses a strong understanding of contract negotiation, and partner ecosystems, and
thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Required Skills & Experience:
Consultative Skills: Engage in dialogue to understand stakeholder needs before
analysis and recommendations.
Contract Knowledge: Interpret legal documents and work with attorneys to ensure
accurate alignment of contracts with business intent.
Customer Conversations: Master open, closed, and leading questioning techniques
to uncover underlying motivations and needs.
Customer Research: In-depth knowledge of a given partner's organization,
industry, competition, and end customers.
Data-Driven Analysis & Reporting: Combine technical and financial data to position
the competitive value of the client's products and services.
Industry Knowledge: Analyze and integrate industry, market, and organizational
information into strategies and plans.
Objection Handling & Negotiation: Navigate the sales process effectively, leading
customers to mutually beneficial outcomes.
Operations Management Strategy: Leverage standards-based business practices to
ensure efficiency and optimal execution.
Opportunity & Pipeline Management: Discover and manage opportunities within
the sales/customer life cycle.
Persuasion Skills: Gain commitment using data and persuasive communication
methods.
Project/Program Management: Experience managing projects, potentially with the
intent of signing deals.
Relationship Building: Create strong collaborative partnerships with internal and
external stakeholders.
Situational Leadership: Confidently interact with senior leaders and address project
concerns/push back with professionalism.
Stakeholder Management Strategy: Positively influence key decision-makers
within partner organizations.
