This role is accountable for coordinating and driving customer outreach and engagement in the furtherance of business goals, including overseeing the creation of the Legal Executive Forum. The Legal Executive Forum is an initiative for the Corporates Legal sub-segment aimed at positioning TR as a thought leader in the Corporate Legal space.

About the Role:
In this opportunity, you will:
- Owns the strategy, coordination, and oversight of the subsegment’s initiative to create a Legal Executive community and as such:
- Position Thomson Reuters as a Thought Leader with in-house General Counsel and other legal executives
- Create meaningful relationships at the top of the house to further sales conversations over the long-term
- Gain valuable insights into the needs of our core customer to better inform product and sales strategies.
- Own key communication to internal senior executives regarding the progress against plan objectives/measurements
Accountabilities
- Create and oversee the execution of a calendar of events, roundtables, thought leadership forums etc to engage with the CLO, GC, DGC & AGC community
- Oversee the development of relevant content and topics to build the TR brand as a Thought Leader in the Corporate Legal Community
- Engage in outreach with Corporate Legal Executives to foster connections and gain insight into needs, opportunities, etc.
- Communicate the insights derived from these engagements with the broader Corporates Legal Team
- Success will be measured by creating events that lead to the building of a respected and highly sought after Legal Executive Forum
About You:
You're a fit for the role if you have:
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Thought Leadership, or a related field
- Experience in effective collaboration with internal partners including the Institute, Communications and TR in house counsel.
- Knowledge of Corporate Legal space, products and trends
- Strong communication skills and experience presenting to senior executives
- Demonstrated skill in creativity/innovation and project management
- Effective multi-tasker, with ability to manage stakeholders, projects, prioritization, and decision making

The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $173,300 - $321,800. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $157,500 - $292,500. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This job posting will close 11/29/2024.
