We are looking for a: Product & Process engineer – 100%
Role Summary
As a Product & Process Engineer, you will manage the lifecycle of assigned processes and equipment in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food process industries, analysing customer needs, ensuring compliance, and driving innovation.
Your role
You will be an integral part of Dec’s TPS (Technology and Process Support) department. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing TPS-related projects, including new development, improvement and equipment industrialization;
- Deeply understanding the technology and the features of the product area to which you are assigned;
- Analysing customer requirements to deliver tailored solutions within time and budget constraints, while providing technical expertise to support ongoing projects;
- Industrializing equipment and components, focusing on efficiency and cost-effectiveness;
- Preparing and maintaining accurate technical documentation for the Dec Group knowledge-sharing platform.
- Conducting tests to validate product performance and reporting results;
- Ensuring that products and processes comply with relevant industry regulations, standards, and certifications, coordinating with regulatory and validation teams as needed;
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, automation, manufacturing, and sales, to drive product development and implementation;
- Conducting product trainings for internal teams to ensure understanding and proficiency in product usage.
- Providing technical support and process troubleshooting to ensure reliable system operation and client satisfaction;
- Developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for assigned projects when required.
Your profile
- You hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Physics Engineering or a related field;
- You have good knowledge of process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), as well as fluid dynamics and mechanical equipment design calculations;
- You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot process issues and propose effective solutions;
- You are familiar with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations;
- You have a dynamic personality with an inventive mindset; you are rich in initiative and unconventional solutions, and you enjoy sharing knowledge and working in a team;
- You have a good level of spoken and written English;
- Knowledge of ATEX regulations, Pressure Equipment Directive, and/or controlled containment environments is considered a plus.
