Our client is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Production and Supply Coordinator to lead the operational heart of their production and steer procurement/Supply Chain activities with precision and impact. This role is pivotal in driving quality, efficiency, and scalability in our supply chain and workshop operations, with a strong adherence to ISO 13485 and MDR standards.
Our client is a startup/Scale up active in the development, production and commercialisation of medical devices.
Description
Workshop & Assembly Operations
Oversee daily activities in the production workshop: assembly, testing, packaging, and repairs
Ensure full compliance with ISO 13485 and MDR,especially in cleanroom environments
Track and analyze KPIs: yield, first-pass success rate, rework percentage, and takt time
Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams to maintain traceability and documentation standards
Procurement & Supply Management
Secure timely availability of components for both ongoing and upcoming production batches
Communicate proactively with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve supply issues
Maintain and update ERP/MRP systems, including item master data, lead times, and cost information
Forecast component needs and adjust procurement strategy accordingly
Process Improvement
Identify inefficiencies and initiate continuous improvement in workshop and supply chain workflows
Support lean manufacturing principles and drive cost-effective operational enhancements
Evaluate supplier performance and recommend sourcing strategies
Profile
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Applied Sciences
Minimum of 5 years in a hands-on leadership role in production or procurement
Solid experience with ERP/MRP systems and data management
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of BOMs, batch production workflows, and sourcing strategies
Knowledge of ISO 13485 and regulatory compliance in production environments preferred
Ability to analyze operational metrics and make data-driven decisions
Language Skills
Fluent in French and English
