Summary

We are looking for a competent and hands on crypto accountant to join our team and contribute to scaling our back end and support operations.

This is not a typical corporate accounting role — we’re looking for a self-starter who’s comfortable in ambiguity, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to get their hands dirty. You'll be responsible for overseeing our crypto and fiat accounting operations, helping us stay compliant, and building a robust finance foundation as we scale.

JK Advisory Sàrl is partnering with a high-performance, orderbook-based perpetuals DEX launching on Monad.

We’re backed by top crypto-native investors and are building the next evolution of on-chain trading—one that combines CEX-level performance with DeFi composability and transparency.

Our mission is to bring the speed, efficiency, and capital depth of traditional finance on-chain, without compromise. Main responsibilities

• Familiarity with Swiss accounting standards
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP and/or IFRS
• Support external audits and compliance with Swiss financial regulations
• Design and improve internal financial processes, controls, and reporting
• Independently manage all accounting tasks for the various group entities
• Supervise accounts payable
• Make invoice payments and perform bank reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany accounts and monthly/annual balance sheet closings.
• Ensure the proper filing and organization of accounting documents.
• Manage and reconcile crypto and fiat transactions across multiple wallets, exchanges, and platforms
• Tax
• Prepare Swiss based VAT returns, employment and corporate tax returns.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving crypto tax regulations in Switzerland and globally
• Manage UK, Swiss and Employer of record payroll processes.
• Work closely with the leadership team on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Be a key contributor in financial strategy discussions and token-related accounting treatments
• Willingness to be involved in operations, including but not limited to dealing with landlords, liaising with external legal counsels, immigration filings or applications and KYC of partners and / or external parties

Nice to haves

• Understanding of crypto / blockchain technology
• Comfortable managing outsourced providers 
• Ability to be involved in areas outside of finance i.e. project management, company secretary and human resources 

Bonus points for 

• Hands-on experience with wallets, ledgers, and Web3 tools a big plus
• Experience in working with other international jurisdictions (UK, US, Cayman Islands etc.) from an accounting and tax perspective

Required profile

• French, English (essential, spoken and written).
• 3 years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to crypto, fintech, or startups
• CPA, ACCA, or Swiss equivalent qualification preferred
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Appetite and understanding of the volatile nature of high growth businesses in a nascent industry
• Strong IT skills, including Google suite (sheets, word, slides etc), Slack, Quickbooks
