ASAP: Senior Controller 70-100% ENG only - Zurich

Our client is an international marketing and communications group with a strong footprint in Switzerland. Due to a team member's upcoming maternity leave and process changes, the finance department is seeking a hands-on Controller to support the Finance Director during a key transition phase.

Description

• Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes within the ACCOUNTING & FINANCE department.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on financial data and market trends.
• Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Continuously improve financial processes and systems for enhanced efficiency.

Profile

• A strong educational background in ACCOUNTING & FINANCE or a related field.
• +6 years of experience in a similar role and environment
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools.
• Solid Excel skills; experience with MS Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems preferred,
• An in-depth understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English, with additional language skills like German and/or French being an advantage.
• A proactive approach to improving financial processes and outcomes.
