Head of Global Test Lab
MAIN ROLE AND ACTIVITIES
- Lead a globally distributed lab verification teams structured by different product lines, scientific verification methods and software/data.
- Define and implement the lab’s strategic roadmap in collaboration with the engineering leadership team.
- Lead and support initiatives such as Lab digitalization, growth of the infrastructure, evaluation of new measurement technology and component testing programs.
- Global lab performance controlling & reporting based on the defined KPI’s.
- Ensure test standards, safety protocols, and software tools are harmonized globally.
- Maintain high-quality testing capabilities for new product introductions, supplier qualifications, and customer-specific validations.
- Act as a key interface between engineering, product management, and field application engineering (FAE) for test-related topics.
- Lead training and development programs to scale lab competencies globally.
COMPETENCIES & KEY EXPERIENCES
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in physics, mechanical engineering or related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in an international environment leading a technical team.
- Experience in vacuum and sensing technology, system engineering is preferred.
- Know-how in the state-of-the-art field programming and data science (eg PLC & Python).
- Proven skills in developing and implementing new agile processes into a high-tech environment.
- Personally, you will fit well into our corporate culture and the international matrix organization if you have hands-on work style and like to accomplish tasks fast.
- Strong English and German language capabilities.
- Work experience in semiconductors or science environment is beneficial
- Global travel (5-10%) is required.
