About the Role
The Global Process Owner position plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the global development and implementation of the global Operational Excellence program of the group. This position is responsible for managing project planning and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of programs, with a focus on core processes, training initiatives, performance tracking, audit support, and data analytics. This role will be assigned to a specific operational area, i.e. assembly, intra-logistics, lean manufacturing, etc. with the aim to develop, test, and implement all relevant operational standards to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
We are hiring for three positions across the following focus areas:
- Lean Production & Lean Management
- Assembly & Manufacturing
- Internal Supply Chain & Logistics
Job Location
This is a hybrid role. Candidates may be based in any country where gategroup has an operational presence.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational standards including process definitions, SOPs, performance tracking tools, and common reporting templates.
- Lead the development, testing, and deployment of new and updated standards, coordinating pilot programs with regional and local teams.
- Drive key projects across all phases, from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with global operations objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on global operations content, training programs, and communication strategies.
- Facilitate project kick-offs, reviews, and kaizen workshops to promote continuous improvement and embed process excellence.
- Support IT-related enhancements for operational efficiency, including solutions like OPRS and GPS fleet tools.
Core competencies and requirements
Education
- Bachelor degree in business economics, business science, engineering or related fields
- Lean manufacturing certification/knowledge is required
Work Experience
- 5+ years in operational leadership position with progressing roles with international experience
- Previous experience in leadership of continuous improvement programs
- Lean manufacturing/6-Sigma deployment experience
- Experience in implementation automation, assembly processes
- Project management experience
Technical / Language Skills
- Strong computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Power BI experience is a plus
- CAD system experience is a plus
- Excellent command of English
Location: This position may be based at any gategroup location worldwide
Travel requirements: appx. 40%
