We are currently seeking a Power electronics Testing & Laboratory Technician to join our team in the canton of Aargau, Switzerland. In this role, you'll play a key part invalidating and ensuring the quality of our power electronics products. Your testing and documentation will be critical in maintaining product reliability and safety, directly impacting our R&D success.
Your responsibilities :
- Set up and execute routine tests on different devices following established testing methodologies.
- Document test results and prepare detailed test reports in accordance with applicable standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient test execution and accurate data collection.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, reliability, and certification protocols.
- Contribute to applied research and development in a collaborative team environment.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, with a focus on power electronicstesting and validation.
- Experience in practical R&D experimentation, testing, and validation of power electronics converters in a Medium Voltage and High-Power testing environment.
- Expertise intest systems, equipment, and infrastructurefor validating power electronics components and sub-systems.
- Fluent in written and spokenEnglish(German is a plus).
- Self-organized and motivated, with the ability to work in a collaborative research and development team.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of German.
