On behalf of our client, a leading, internationally active, technology-driven Swiss company located in the Bern area (Flamatt), we are seeking an experienced and pragmatic professional to secure ongoing financial operations, starting on August 10, 2026.

Due to an upcoming departure and the strategic realignment of the role as of 2027, we are looking for an experienced expert strictly for bridging the gap and maintaining the existing system landscape.

Key Assignment Details

• Start Date: 10.08.2026 (Fixed start date to ensure a thorough handover)

• Duration: Temporary until 31.12.2026

• Workload: 50% ? 80% (Flexible arrangement)

• Location: Flamatt (1?2 days per week on-site for collaboration is mandatory, remainder working from home)

Your Main Responsibilities

In this role, the focus is entirely on business continuity. This position explicitly does not involve new programming or re-architecture, but rather the stable maintenance and provision of data for upcoming forecasts and financial closings.

• Model Maintenance: Ensuring the ongoing operation and stability of the existing data model based on SAP, Power Query, and Power BI.

• Process Support: Providing technical support to finance stakeholders during recurring reporting cycles, rolling forecasts, and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process.

• Troubleshooting: Resolving refresh errors, bugs in M code or DAX formulas, and performing data quality checks.

• Data Consolidation: Adapting and linking existing Excel and SharePoint input templates with the Power BI model.

• Documentation: Clean logging of system adjustments in preparation for the subsequent knowledge transfer.

Your Profile

• Technical Excellence: You have a flawless command of the MS BI suite (esp. Power Query, M code, Power BI, DAX) as well as Excel and SharePoint data sources. SAP knowledge is mandatory for the data model.

• Focus on Maintenance: You enjoy keeping a functioning system stable and implementing minor optimizations pragmatically, rather than reinventing the wheel.

• Financial Understanding: You possess a solid understanding of controlling, planning, and financial closing processes.

• Communication & Personality: You are highly confident in dealing with finance professionals at the Group level. You speak their language and understand their deadlines.

• Language Skills: Fluent English is a must-have (international team structure); any additional language is a welcome asset.

Timeline & Application

Since the current job holder is leaving the company at the end of August, the timeline is scheduled as follows:

• Interviews: Will take place promptly.

• Onboarding: Training will be conducted directly by the current job holder starting August 10 (following their summer vacation).
