Mission

The Living Patterns Lab at the SB Faculty of EPFL is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support our team in cutting-edge scientific research. Our lab combines microscopy, image analysis, and biophysical measurements to uncover the mechanisms of cellular organization and function. We have a particular focus on cilia and cellular mechanics, studying a variety of organisms including Chlamydomonas and Paramecium. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to research associated with the ERC funded project XtrmCells .

Main duties and responsibilities

Collaborate with researchers to establish new techniques (e.g., CRISPR, mass spectrometry, RNAi) and assays in the labAssist with established workflows and microscopy experiments
