In this role you will be responsible for the implementation of the global regulatory strategy for key assets working in collaboration with regulators, project managers, regulatory scientists and country/regional regulatory affairs managers.
This position offers the opportunity for you to further develop a career in the regulation of crop protection chemicals. The position requires initiative in regulatory management of projects directly linked to the success of the business in the areas of product line expansion, growth, defence, sourcing, off-patent strategy, trade, and competitive intelligence, in all geographies and across all product lines.
What you'll do with us:
- Implement global plans and timelines for the defence and registration of key assigned products.
- Collaborate with country and regional regulatory affairs managers to develop and execute global regulatory strategies that meet submission deadlines and ensure timely product authorizations.
- Identify requirements and assess the impact of new or evolving regulatory frameworks across markets.
- Manage global data protection policies and guidelines, maintaining up-to-date records related to intellectual property.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure data transparency across the diamide teams, including Supply Chain, Legal, Intellectual Property, Product Stewardship, and Brand Protection.
- Align regulatory activities with Brand Protection priorities, guided by the Brand Protection Heat Map.
- Facilitate effective communication of the diamide regulatory strategy between regional and global teams.
- Collaborate with compliance regulatory teams to support the seamless implementation of sourcing strategies.
Your qualification & attributes:
- Master’s degree in Regulatory Science or a related discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Toxicology, Ecotoxicology, Biochemistry, or Environmental Science); Ph.D. preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a regulatory-related role within the chemical or crop protection industry, with a global scope.
- Proven ability to apply scientific knowledge to regulatory challenges and solutions.
- Ability to monitor regulatory and industry developments and assess their impact on key products.
- Experience managing intellectual property information and navigating global data protection frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and provide actionable recommendations.
