To support our e-Mobility group, we are looking to join us in our new offices in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland for a:
Purpose: The Sustainability & ESG Analyst will support the implementation of the company’s sustainability and ESG strategies by working on various projects, collecting and analysing data, and preparing reports. This role involves collaboration across departments to ensure that sustainability and ESG practices are integrated into all aspects of the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ESG principles and be passionate about driving positive environmental and social impact within the organization and sector.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting, analysing, and reporting sustainability and ESG data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with industry standards (EU Battery Regulation) and specific reporting regulations (SFRD, TCFD, and CSRD frameworks).
- Monitor sustainability and ESG metrics.
- Keep up dated activity data and enter the data in the existing LCA model (OpenLCA)
- Support the development of sustainability policies, processes and procedures.
- Support the development and implementation of sustainability and ESG initiatives, including energy efficiency action plans, waste reduction, and social responsibility programs.
- Research emerging sustainability and ESG trends, risks, and opportunities, and stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sustainability engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with ESG-related regulations and policies, the new Battery regulation, and respective delegated acts.
- Collaborate to integrate sustainability practices into product development and manufacturing processes.
- Participate in stakeholder engagement activities, including surveys, meetings, and presentations.
- Provide technical and training support on sustainability practices to other departments and assist in developing training materials and programs to educate stakeholders on sustainability, ESG practices, and regulation compliance.
- Support Monitoring and evaluating the company’s progress towards its sustainability and ESG goals, recommending improvements where necessary.
- Support external audits and assessments related to sustainability and ESG performance.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or a related field.
- Knowledge on ESG frameworks and reporting standards.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of sustainability and social responsibility.
- Certification in sustainability or ESG (e.g., GRI, SASB) is a plus.
- Knowledge in Batteries and its industry is a plus.
- Conducting product and process life cycle assess.ments (LCA) and environmental impact analyses is a plus.

Languages:
- English fluent spoken and writing
- French and/or other European language is an asset
