Description

  • Design and implement a clear internal communications strategy that drives objectives, enhances the employee experience and strengthens the organization's reputation
  • Devise guidelines and processes to improve the clarity and consistency of internal communications, between leadership, management and staff
  • Assess needs, write, edit, produce, and managing distribution of internal communications content
  • Propose and develop innovative communication approach
  • Together with relevant teams, ensure complex topics are translated into clear, simple formats (written, visual or multimedia) that can be easily understood by all staff
  • Partner closely with colleagues in the Communications and Engagement Team, leadership and cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and manage internal communications plan
  • Create content in alignment with the brand identity and communication guidelines
  • Provide corporate templates and tools (newsletter, templates and guidelines) to all departments
  • Provide ongoing coaching and training to staff on better communications tools and practices, and share best practices and lessons learned across departments

Profile

  • Over 5 years' experience in internal communications or related experience
  • Proven ability to work in a multicultural environment and resilience to work in a very fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of international organizations
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related discipline
  • Previous experience working in a complex organization with staff working in both remote and on site capacity
  • Experience in analyzing, summarizing and explaining complex themes or processes
  • An excellent knowledge of English (C2 proficiency) and a good working knowledge of French would be a strong asset
  • Strong project management experience from stakeholder management to planning
  • Experience in managing cross-functional projects and stakeholders required
  • Direct experience supporting executives with required communications needs
  • Experience in crisis communications is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working cooperatively and strategically with different teams of people
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to leverage multicultural and multi-departmental team's skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demanding initiatives concurrently, balancing multiple priorities, working with minimal supervision and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with various levels of seniority (strategy, project managers, Heads of Function/Departments)
  • Ability to conduct meetings with senior members of the business and advise accordingly
  • Team player, independent, flexible and autonomous professional
