Lack of Communication and disappointing pre-interview
What works well?
If they do not like you the first call they have with you, you'll be ghosted for years.
What could be improved?
Do not get your hopes up, as you may be disappointed by their lack of communication. I have dealt with many recruiters over the years, and none have been as disappointing as the one I encountered at Michael Page. After a pre-interview where I was told my profile matched the role perfectly, I was promised follow-up contact that never came. Subsequent applications to matching positions were also met with complete silence. A lack of professionalism I did not expect from such a well-known agency.
