Après un processus de recrutement incroyablement chronophage (un test de personnalité, un test de logique, un entretien personnel avec le recruteur et deux appels téléphoniques, une confirmation que l'entreprise était intéressée par mon profil), le recruteur m'a ghostée. Malgré mes appels et e-mails envoyés à plusieurs adresses, je n'ai eu aucun retour, aucune explication, aucune confirmation que le poste avait été pourvu par quelqu'un d'autre. Je dénote donc un manque de professionnalisme et de respect pour les candidats de la part d'Academic Work. C'est dommage car leurs offres sont très intéressantes.

Speed in the early stages of recruitment. You have to take the pseudoscientific psychomotricity tests once a year (what a bargain). When they want to contact you, it's very quick! At first glance, junior recruitment is a great value. The staff are very polite (when they answer), smiling.

Candidate follow-up. I applied for a 4-month temporary job with a company, and got as far as the interview with the company's recruiter. Unfortunately, the company contacted Acadamic Works (an agency specializing in juniors), but they weren't convinced by the profiles provided, as I lacked practical experience and would therefore be "challenged in my practical skills". In the end, I discovered that I'd be joining a team and would be directly functional, as they wouldn't necessarily have the time to train me. (I'll skip the other redflags for reasons of confidentiality). So I gave my feedback to the AW recruiter by phone and confirmed that I would give feedback and a decision to the company recruiter by e-mail. Since then I've never received an acknowledgement of receipt of my e-mail from either the company or AW. I may have come across the wrong offer, but I think there are too many complications in the process for a 4-month temporary assignment... I think I've made the right choice...

I would say the first answer once the profile is selected for a position

I should have read the reviews before starting a process with this company. I've had two experiences with them, and in both cases, their recruitment management was deplorable. First experience in October 2023 for a position in Geneva: after several interviews, including a face-to-face one that cost me time, energy and money, I never heard back. No explanation, no follow-up, despite my investment in the process. Second experience in December 2024: very positive interview with a recruiter who assured me of a rapid return. Several reminders from me later, still no sign of life. It's a shame, because on paper, a company that claims to support young profiles in their professional integration is a good thing. But in reality, the way they proceed is a real lack of respect and a waste of time for candidates.

Recruitment takes absolutely no account of more mature profiles. Personally, I no longer reply to any advertisement even if the position corresponds to me in every way, because recruitment is only aimed at young graduates... Age discrimination should be banned

I agree with what I see on the other reviews. No response to my application.

The jobs are very interesting, you just have to accept that if you go on vacation, you don't get paid.

Far too high a margin from this company for mediocre wage and social conditions. I did 6 months and would do it again.

Everything went perfectly during my experience with Academic Work, there is nothing to improve.

Clear and easy to follow recruitment process, good contacts with my manager, very good experience in the mission company, salary paid very quickly after sending the hours report.

Hourly pay has its advantages and disadvantages...
