Job Purpose


The CFO is responsible for overseeing all corporate functions of the company with a focus on Financial , Operational, HR and development aspects . This role includes strategic financial planning, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring the financial health and operational soundness of the company. The CFO will partner with the CEO to build a, organisation capable of transformation in network development, operational excellence, and financial insight.


 


Key Responsibilities


1) Strategic Financial Leadership:



  • Advise the CEO and the board on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, and policy matters.

  • Lead long-term financial forecasting and scenario planning oversight of financially analyst who delivers this report


2) Financial Planning and Analysis:



  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Leaise with and oversee the external accountant and the auditors to enable them to operate effectively

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to drive business decisions.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.


3) Budgeting and Forecasting:



  • Lead the annual budgeting process and regular financial forecasting.

  • Ensure all departments are aligned with financial objectives and targets.

  • Track performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.

  • Maximise cost control measures though best-in-class supplier management and relevant cost controls


4) Treasury and Cash Management:



  • Manage the company's cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability.

  • Oversee treasury functions, including debt management, investment strategies, and banking relationships.

  • Optimize working capital and manage foreign exchange exposure.


5) IT:



  • Collaborate with the group to ensure the best-in-class technology stack ensuring efficiency and automation of internal processes in finance & HR and customer processes

  • Ensure the group are delivering digital top funnel interventions to generate more enquiries and market share


6) HR:



  • Ensure the best-in-class talent to look after customers based on customer attendance patterns towards an entirely flexible workforce at a centre level

  • Keeping the cost of field and overhead talent under control

  • Ensure add-on cost of headcount costs are kept under control (benefits, payroll providers, insurance, policy)


7) Operations (in collaboration with the CEO):



  • Assist the PM team with internal process optimization and centre and customer requests

  • Assist the PM team for New Centre Opening (NCO) and monitor spending and planning

  • Provide guidance to the team leaders and staff in centres ensuring efficiency and cost optimization.


8) Stakeholder Management:



  • Act as the primary point of contact for financial matters with the board of directors, investors, auditors, and other stakeholders.

  • Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to the board and investors.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.


 


Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance/operations , with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Proven experience as a CFO or equivalent role in a very commercial environment ideally looking after back office responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and accounting principles.

  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
