Responsibilities:
- Design, planning, and implementation of automation projects in an industrial environment
- Development of control and regulation systems for machines and plants
- Programming and commissioning of PLC controls (e.g. Siemens, Beckhoff)
- Creation of circuit diagrams and wiring diagrams using CAD software
- Conducting functional and integration tests as well as fault analysis and troubleshooting
- Close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams (e.g. mechanics, software development)
- Support in customer consulting and technical assistance
- Compliance with standards, guidelines, and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in automation technology or related fields desirable
- Solid knowledge in PLC programming and commissioning (e.g. Siemens S7, Beckhoff TwinCAT)
- Confident handling of CAD software for electrical planning (e.g. EPLAN, AutoCAD)
- Good understanding of electrical engineering, control engineering, and electrical drive technology
- Experience in project work and knowledge of project management methods
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork
- Strong communication skills and customer orientation
- Good German and English skills
