DevOps System Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF95,000 - 125,000Role:
Infrastructure that runs reliably does not happen by chance but through consistent automation and clean processes. As a DevOps System Engineer (Azure focus), you take on exactly this responsibility across cloud and on-premises environments. You move confidently between Windows, Linux and MacOS and ensure that delivery pipelines and runtime infrastructure function stably. When an incident occurs, you take full responsibility from the first alert to the postmortem. This role suits you if you combine technical depth with entrepreneurial thinking.
Responsibilities:
You operate and further develop delivery pipelines and runtime infrastructure across Azure and on-premises
You maintain Terraform, Docker as well as reverse proxy and TLS solutions including code signing
You build the observability landscape and operate tools such as Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Prometheus and Graylog
You operate CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines
You also support automated deployment of servers, agents and clients
You take end-to-end responsibility for incidents and create runbooks as well as architecture decision documents
Qualifications:
You have several years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE or platform engineering, with a relevant part in end-to-end responsible productive infrastructure
You possess expert knowledge in Docker and Terraform for multi-environment setups
You are familiar with operating Azure resources such as VMs, VNet/NSG, KeyVault and Managed Identity as well as on-premises virtualisation via Hyper-V, VMware or Proxmox
You administer Windows and Linux servers securely, including PowerShell, IIS, systemd and nginx
You have solid TLS/PKI knowledge and experience with CI/CD on GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines
You also bring database know-how with PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server as well as secure scripting in Bash and PowerShell
