Senior Test Manager (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to find errors before a customer notices them? As a Senior Test Manager, you create the foundation for new software versions to function reliably. You do not see quality as the last hurdle before go-live. For you, it is an integral part of every development cycle. This way, you become the central contact person for all questions regarding tests and approvals.
Responsibilities:
You manage the entire test management in agile and traditional software projects, keeping effort, deadlines, and risks under control
You plan regression tests, load tests, and end-to-end scenarios proactively and accompany them until release
You build automated test processes with Playwright and integrate them into existing build and deployment processes
Additionally, you maintain test data and test environments in close coordination with IT operations
You moderate error meetings and ensure clear prioritisation of open issues
You also make the quality status transparent for management and departments and derive improvements from it
Qualifications:
You have completed an IT education at university or higher technical college level or have an equivalent background
You bring several years of experience in software testing, ideally with leadership or coordination responsibility
You are familiar with recognised test methods and standards. A certificate from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) is a plus
Furthermore, you work confidently with test management tools such as Xray or TestRail and understand the basics of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
With calmness, perseverance, and diplomatic skill, you represent quality concerns even under time pressure
You also formulate precisely in German and use English confidently for documentation and communication
