Our client is an IT service provider in the Zurich Oberland region, supporting companies with customised solutions around infrastructure, cloud, security, and backup. In a manageable team, you take responsibility for demanding server projects, maintain direct contact with customers, and contribute your own technical ideas. Besides engineering, your varied daily tasks also include project planning, further development of the service offering, and supporting IT trainees.
Responsibilities:
Planning and managing server projects from requirements analysis to implementation
Developing technical concepts, specifications, and project proposals
Customer support, conducting regular visits, and assisting in IT support
Participation in a 24-hour on-call service
Evaluation of products and maintenance of manufacturer and technology partnerships
Support in supervising and training ICT apprentices
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ with a focus on system technology or comparable qualification
At least three years of professional experience in the IT environment
Solid knowledge of Windows client-server environments and server virtualisation
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365
Fluent German and good English skills
Driving licence category B
Independent, reliable, and flexible working style with a strong customer and service orientation
