Responsibilities:
Management and professional development of export processes including prioritisation and coordination of ongoing orders
Independent organisation of international shipments including export documentation, permits and certifications
Preparation of individual export quotations taking into account transport costs, legal requirements and country-specific conditions
Checking sanction lists, goods lists and dual-use regulations as well as assessing export control requirements
Advising national and international customers on export possibilities, costs and import requirements
Coordination with SECO, freight forwarders, transport companies and importers in complex export cases
Optimisation of cross-border goods traffic within the DACH region focusing on costs, VAT and efficient processes
Support with import processing, internal back-office tasks and building a structured export documentation
Qualifications:
Completed commercial basic training as well as further training in foreign trade/export (federal diploma)
Several years of experience in international export business as well as several years of professional and leadership experience
Sound knowledge in export control, customs clearance, sanctions checks and dual-use goods
Strong customer and solution orientation as well as a high sense of responsibility
Entrepreneurial thinking, networked action and enjoyment of a dynamic leadership role
High flexibility and willingness to temporarily take on an increased workload during holiday cover
Very good German skills as well as good English skills
