Senior Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the technical planning of server solutions, assess customer requirements and develop suitable architectures, performance specifications, and calculations from them.
You maintain direct customer contact, conduct consultation meetings and on-site appointments, and support with technical inquiries and faults.
As part of the on-call service, you ensure the availability of the supported IT systems and respond to urgent operational issues.
You take on tasks in product management, monitor the market, coordinate technology partners, and maintain relevant manufacturer relationships including partner status.
You support the training and supervision of IT apprentices and work closely with the responsible training manager.
Qualifications:
Completed IT apprenticeship EFZ specialising in system technology with at least three years of professional experience in a comparable position.
Good practical knowledge in Microsoft Windows Client/Server as well as experience with virtualisation technologies and modern server platforms.
Confident handling of Microsoft 365 and interest in current IT infrastructure solutions and their technical development.
Very good German skills, good English skills, valid category B driving licence, and a strong understanding of customer needs.
High self-responsibility, reliability, adaptability, and service orientation as well as a positive and humorous manner in dealing with others.
