Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily maintenance operations across campus site
• Prepare and communicate technician schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation and site coverage
• Lead, coach, and support the maintenance team, fostering high performance and continuous development
• Assign, monitor, and follow up on maintenance activities to ensure timely and quality completion
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance programs are effectively executed
• Supervise external contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements
• Provide technical guidance and ensure the reliability of campus infrastructure, equipment, and safety systems
• Manage maintenance-related procurement, inventories, and asset lifecycle planning
• Maintain accurate operational records, reports, and documentation, ensuring visibility for management
• Keep the Head of Maintenance informed of ongoing activities, issues, risks, and operational developments
• Support emergency response activities, insurance claim coordination, and participation in on-call rotations
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and the implementation of maintenance best practices

Profile and experiences:

• Technical qualification in building maintenance, electrical, mechanical systems or related field (CFC or equivalent preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in hospitality, education, or multi-site environments
• Previous experience supervising a team or coordinating contractors is strongly preferred
• Good understanding of Swiss safety standards and building regulations
• Solid knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, access control, fire safety, emergency systems)
• Ability to plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Budget awareness and cost-control mindset
• Comfortable using maintenance tracking tools and basic administrative systems (PO management, reporting, Excel)
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Team-oriented leadership with the ability to give clear instructions and follow up on execution
• Fluent in French & English (in written and orally)
