Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a BIM Specialist Infrastructure Construction for the digital planning of demanding infrastructure projects. You will work on projects in road, rail and utility construction and implement these model-based with modern Autodesk solutions such as Civil 3D, Revit and InfraWorks. In addition to operational BIM project work, you will further develop digital planning standards, data workflows and interfaces and support project teams in their implementation. Another focus is internal consulting and training of employees in the field of BIM and digital infrastructure planning.
Responsibilities:
Active participation and professional support in BIM projects in infrastructure and civil engineering
Model-based processing of road, rail and utility projects with Autodesk Civil 3D
Creation and maintenance of 3D infrastructure and terrain models as well as preparation of relevant planning and project data
Application and further development of Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit and InfraWorks within interdisciplinary infrastructure projects
Support in BIM coordination and quality assurance of specialist models and digital planning documents
Design and optimisation of BIM workflows, modelling guidelines, templates and internal standards
Responsibility for structured data exchange and interface management between different planning and software systems
Review and assurance of data quality, model structure and information consistency within digital planning processes
Support of project teams in the introduction and application of new BIM, CAD and Autodesk technologies
Conducting internal training, workshops and user support for Civil 3D and other digital planning tools
Participation in the further development of Open-BIM processes and Common Data Environment workflows (CDE)
Observation and evaluation of new digital planning methods, software solutions and automation possibilities for infrastructure construction
Qualifications:
Education as Civil Engineer FH/ETH, Technician HF or draftsman/designer specialising in civil engineering
Several years of professional experience in planning infrastructure or civil engineering projects in Switzerland
Very good user knowledge as a power user of Autodesk Civil 3D
Good knowledge of Autodesk Revit and InfraWorks is an advantage
Experience with BIM models, digital planning processes and IT/data interfaces between different software systems
Knowledge of BIM standards, data management and model-based quality assurance
Good German language skills, English skills are an advantage
