The Land Registry Office / Notary of the Canton of Schaffhausen is responsible for maintaining the land register of all municipalities in the canton. It is the advisory contact point for property, inheritance, and corporate law matters, primarily in connection with real estate. Furthermore, it is responsible for the preparation and public notarisation of all contracts concerning rights to real estate and serves as the cantonal certification authority.

Clerk for Notarial Certifications (m/f), 80-100 %

What to expect

• Independent preparation and execution of official certifications
• Various tasks in the land registry area; including preparation of land register extracts, land register applications, maintenance of the electronic land register, as well as general office duties
• Counter and telephone support
• Provision of simple official information
• Material management

What you bring

• Completed commercial training
• Professional experience in a land registry office / notary is an advantage
• Interest in legal matters
• Very good German and English skills
• Enjoyment of daily customer contact and teamwork
• Quick comprehension, precise and independent working style
