As part of the zKIS-/EPIC programme, you will actively shape the central transformation of the University Hospital Zurich. With the introduction of a new clinical information system, we are not only changing our digital infrastructure but also clinical processes, collaboration, and ways of working. EPIC is thus a key component on the path to the "Hospital of the Future" and is intended to sustainably support the daily work of employees.

Communications Manager Epic 80-100%

Your main tasks
- You are responsible for the operational and conceptual communication of the zKIS-/EPIC project and position the project within the overarching transformation to the "Hospital of the Future"
- You develop and manage the communication planning for the project in close coordination with corporate communications
- You ensure that the project is positioned internally in a consistent, understandable, and target group-appropriate manner and is embedded in the overall communication of the USZ
- You advise the project management on communication issues and support the preparation of decisions, appearances, and sensitive topics
- You identify communication risks and challenges early and support the development of appropriate communication measures
- You proactively gather information from the project environment, prepare it appropriately for the target audience, and ensure a continuous flow of information
- You develop formats for informing, involving, and mobilising employees and contribute to an active project community
- You ensure that EPIC is understood communicatively as a central component of the "Hospital of the Future" and interlink the project communication with other transformation and strategy topics of the USZ
Your profile
- You have several years of experience (ideally 8-10 years) in corporate, project, or transformation communication
- You have experience in complex organisational or large project environments, ideally in healthcare or highly regulated environments
- You can develop strategic communication approaches and implement them operationally at the same time
- You are able to prepare complex content understandably and communicate it appropriately to the target audience
- You have experience advising executives and dealing with sensitive or political topics
- You identify communication risks early and can develop appropriate measures
- You work independently, in a structured manner, and with high initiative in a dynamic environment
- You have a strong sense for language, impact, and storytelling in transformation projects
- You are open, curious, and interested in the further development of the "Hospital of the Future"
