ZurichYour Tasks
- You bear the professional responsibility for budget, forecast calculations and financial statements and ensure professional financial planning and control.
- You lead and coach the employees of the controlling team in a goal-, result- and resource-oriented manner and ensure their professional development as well as the transfer of know-how within the team.
- You continuously develop the controlling processes and instruments and are responsible for complex calculations, ad-hoc analyses and sound decision-making bases.
- You advise and support the managers and service areas of AOZ in business management issues and act as a competent sparring partner.
- You prepare decision-making and reporting documents for the management, the board of directors, the board finance committee and the city of Zurich and take over the management of relevant projects.
- You deputise for the head of the finance department and ensure the corresponding tasks and responsibilities in her absence.
Your Profile
- University degree (FH/University/ETH) at Bachelor level in business administration, finance or controlling as well as leadership training at CAS level
- Extensive professional and leadership experience in finance and accounting as well as in operational and strategic controlling
- Very good knowledge of budgeting, calculations, financial statements is essential and reporting as well as accounting according to HRM2 is an advantage
- Experience in public administration or comprehensive understanding of public administrative structures as well as experience in optimisation and project management is an advantage
- Very good user knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, as well as Abacus and BI tools; SQL and VBA knowledge is an advantage
- Strong analytical and strategic skills, high personal responsibility, decisiveness, resilience and excellent communication and leadership skills

Your Salary
Your gross salary for a 100% workload is expected to be between 120,000 and 150,000 Swiss francs per year.
The exact salary depends on your education and professional experience. During the selection process, we will determine your salary based on our salary guidelines. Applicants who do not yet have the required knowledge or experience may be classified below the salary range in individual cases. In addition, AOZ pays allowances for work at night and on Sundays. Further salary development depends on your performance and AOZ's financial possibilities.
