Do you wish to develop your experience in purchasing within an industrial and technical environment? This position represents a great opportunity for a profile with initial purchasing experience who wishes to gradually gain autonomy.
Job Description
- Manage purchases and orders with suppliers.
- Ensure follow-up of orders, deadlines and deliveries.
- Participate in requests for proposals and comparison of supplier offers.
- Maintain regular contact with suppliers in Switzerland and abroad.
- Contribute to price and purchasing terms negotiations.
- Work closely with various internal stakeholders.
- Participate in monitoring and optimising the supplier portfolio.
Profile Sought
- Commercial or technical training ideally complemented by a focus on purchasing/supply.
- Successful initial experience in industrial purchasing, ideally 2 to 3 years.
- Experience in metallurgy, metal processing, metal construction, machining or mechanical industry is a real advantage.
- We are also open to a Purchasing Assistant / Purchasing Manager profile who already has genuine involvement in purchasing and wishes to progress.
- Fluent French and good knowledge of German are essential.
- Comfortable with IT tools and ERP environments.
- Organised, pragmatic personality, comfortable in supplier contacts and appreciating industrial environments.
A versatile role allowing you to develop your purchasing skills within a Swiss industrial SME, with varied supplier contacts and real proximity to operational activities.
