Job Description
The Cantonal Unemployment Fund determines entitlement to benefits and pays unemployment allowances to all persons registered with a Vaud ORP. It compensates companies in cases of reduced working hours (RHT or technical unemployment) due to economic reasons or adverse weather conditions. It pays allowances to workers in cases of employer insolvency (bankruptcy).
As part of your role as a specialised case manager, you provide information and register insured persons presenting at the counter.
You are responsible for compiling and analysing files. In this capacity, you determine entitlement to unemployment benefits.
Finally, you conduct a monthly review of entitlement conditions, calculate the amount, and process the payment of unemployment benefits.

Responsibilities
- Provide information and register insured persons at the counter and by telephone.
- Compile and analyse unemployment files.
- Determine unemployment entitlements, calculate the insured earnings, and pay unemployment benefits.
- Conduct a monthly review of entitlement conditions and process benefit payments.
Qualifications
- Commercial employee CFC or equivalent qualification.
- Proven professional experience in the administrative field.
- Good knowledge of social insurance and labour law.
- Proficiency in common office software tools.
- Ease in interpersonal contacts, autonomy in work organisation, numerical aptitude, and sense of responsibility.
