Job Description
The Directorate General for Territory and Housing (DGTL) is responsible for spatial planning, cadastre and geoinformation, building permits as well as cantonal housing policy.
Within the DGTL, the Directorate of Strategic Territorial Projects (DIPS) defines and implements cantonal spatial planning strategies. It notably manages the Cantonal Master Plan (PDCn), supports agglomeration projects and regional and inter-municipal initiatives, conducts strategic territorial planning and contributes to the harmonious development of the Vaud territory.

Responsibilities
- Lead complex strategic projects with significant territorial or thematic stakes at the inter-cantonal, agglomeration and regional, as well as inter-municipal level, ensuring the implementation of the cantonal master plan
- Actively ensure the monitoring and implementation of agglomeration, regional, inter-municipal and thematic projects
- Ensure coordination, communication and represent the directorate
- Advise and share expertise in spatial planning
- Carry out ongoing activities

Qualifications
- Holder of a master’s degree in urban planning, architecture or geography.
- Additional training in spatial planning is an asset.
- Confirmed professional experience of 8 years in the design and implementation of large-scale territorial and thematic projects
- Understanding of political issues
- Good knowledge of the federal, Vaud and regional institutional context
- Excellent collaboration, organisation and planning skills
- Knowledge of German
