Role:

On behalf of the client, we are looking for a technically skilled and customer-oriented professional for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of mobile refrigeration and air conditioning systems. You will manage diverse customer projects throughout Switzerland and be responsible for the proper provision, delivery, installation and return of temporarily deployed systems. The focus is on independently carrying out service and repair work, technical monitoring of system operation and professional customer support. The position combines sound technical understanding, practical experience in installation and maintenance, as well as independent work with varied assignments in the field and at the service location in the Bern region.

Responsibilities:

• Independent delivery and installation of mobile refrigeration and air conditioning systems at customers throughout Switzerland, taking into account the respective technical and spatial requirements

• Proper commissioning of temporary refrigeration and air conditioning systems including performing necessary functional tests and monitoring operating parameters

• Organisation and execution of dismantling and return of mobile systems after completion of the respective customer assignment

• Execution of service, maintenance and repair work on mobile refrigeration and air conditioning systems both directly at the customer and at the service location

• Systematic analysis and troubleshooting of technical faults in refrigeration, mechanical and electrical system components

• Carrying out repairs and replacement of defective parts to restore reliable and efficient system operation

• Technical support and advice to customers on site regarding operation, use and optimal functioning of the deployed systems

• Monitoring and control of proper system operation including detection of possible functional deviations and initiation of appropriate measures

• Preparation and organisation of service and installation assignments including checking required tools, spare parts and technical aids

• Creation, maintenance and control of maintenance, service and inspection documentation using digital service and reporting systems

• Ensuring compliance with relevant safety, environmental and quality regulations during transport, installation and work on refrigeration and air conditioning systems

• Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and other service technicians to coordinate customer assignments, technical clarifications and timely completion of orders

Qualifications:

• Completed technical vocational training, for example as a mechatronics technician specialising in refrigeration technology, HVAC mechanic, electronics technician for energy and building technology or with a comparable recognised qualification

• Professional experience in technical service, installation or maintenance of systems and machines with a strong practical understanding of mechanical and electrical relationships

• Knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning technology is an advantage as well as interest in installation, maintenance and technical support of mobile refrigeration and air conditioning systems

• Confident handling of modern digital work tools such as tablets, smartphones and electronic service and documentation systems

• High technical willingness to learn and interest in professional development as well as openness to new system concepts, technical solutions and modern service methods

• Independent, reliable and solution-oriented working style with a strong sense of responsibility, flexibility and willingness to undertake customer assignments throughout Switzerland

• Good German language skills in spoken and written form, French language skills are an advantage, as well as enjoyment of direct customer contact, professional appearance and a valid category B driving licence
