As a Cyber Security Specialist, you actively shape the security landscape of Swisscard together with our team. You recognise opportunities and risks early, contribute your expertise and help us to sustainably anchor cyber security in the company.

The IT Security and Risk Management group is the central point of contact for cyber and information security at Swisscard. Together we further develop security concepts, strengthen our protection mechanisms and support the implementation of important security initiatives.

Your tasks

• You monitor the cyber threat landscape, analyse new developments and derive concrete measures to strengthen our security.
• You work with modern security solutions such as XDR, Threat Intelligence and SIEM and continuously develop their use.
• You monitor and control our outsourced Cyber Detection & Response Services (SOC and SIEM).
• You advise internal teams from IT operations, software development, architecture and our agile value streams on security issues.
• You accompany projects and initiatives from idea to implementation and ensure that security aspects are considered early on.
• You contribute your knowledge, share experiences within the team and help to find the best solution together.
• Depending on experience, you take on technical responsibility for topics and actively drive them forward.

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, cyber security or a comparable education or relevant professional experience.
• You have experience in the field of cyber security and are interested in current technologies and threats.
• You have knowledge in one or more areas such as EDR, SIEM, Threat Hunting & Response, Cloud Security, Azure, Kubernetes or AI.
• You can analyse, assess and derive appropriate measures for security risks.
• You work in a structured and independent manner and feel comfortable in complex environments.
• You communicate clearly and appropriately in German and English (at least B2/C1) and can explain technical topics understandably.
• You enjoy working with different teams and appreciate professional exchange.
• You are characterised by a strong can-do mentality, take responsibility and drive topics solution-oriented to implementation.
• You are a committed team player, work in partnership with development and platform teams and support them in establishing security as an integral part of software development.
• You work independently, in a structured and results-oriented way and keep an overview even in demanding situations.
• Participation in an appropriate on-call service may be required for this position.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or GIAC are welcome but not mandatory.
