Role:
As a Cloud & On-Premise System Engineer, you independently and holistically support SME customers. From analysis through planning of on-premise and cloud infrastructures to stable operation, you are in the driving seat. A service desk team supports you with monitoring and daily enquiries. You actively share your knowledge within the team and contribute your own ideas on new technologies and security approaches.
Responsibilities:
You advise customers from the first contact to the finished solution and remain their central point of contact.
You plan, implement, and operate server and cloud environments based on Microsoft Server and Azure.
Furthermore, you ensure ongoing operation and resolve faults in a targeted manner.
You drive the automation and standardisation of recurring processes.
Additionally, you participate in the evaluation of new technologies and IT security approaches.
You also document your findings and share them regularly in knowledge exchanges.
Qualifications:
You have completed training in IT or telematics; additional further training is welcome.
You bring several years of experience with server, cluster, and terminal server infrastructures.
You are confident in working with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Entra ID, and modern client operating systems.
You enjoy direct customer contact by phone and on-site, and you like working in a team.
You work independently, solution-oriented, and reliably, even when things get hectic.
Additionally, you communicate fluently in German, have a good command of English, and hold a category B driving licence.
