About the job
The "Parents - Woman - Child" sector of the Jura Hospital, located on the Delémont site, brings together the Maternity and Paediatrics services. The Paediatrics service cares for newborns, infants, children and adolescents, from birth up to 16 years old, within several complementary sectors: neonatology, general outpatient and inpatient paediatrics, and paediatric emergencies.
To complete the Paediatrics team, we are looking, for a replacement and a start date from 19 October 2026, for a:
Paediatric Nurse
Responsibilities
- Ensure care in neonatology, paediatric emergencies, and the inpatient and outpatient units of general paediatrics including child psychiatry.
- Support families and the patients' relatives, ensuring their well-being.
- Coordinate patient care with various health professionals.
- Assess the urgency of situations and provide complex quality care autonomously and under medical delegation.
- Ensure continuity of information and accuracy of handovers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Nursing or an equivalent qualification.
- Recognition by the Red Cross for foreign diplomas (or to be requested).
- Several years of experience in an acute care setting.
- Experience in Paediatrics would be a real asset.
- Good analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, sense of priorities and initiative.
- Dynamic personality able to work independently.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
