Role:
As a Workplace & Collaboration Engineer, you shape how employees work daily with their devices and applications. The focus is on the further development of the client and mobile platform as well as a clean Microsoft 365 (M365) system landscape. Automation is not just a buzzword but part of daily work. Those who enjoy tinkering, taking responsibility, and taking users seriously will find plenty of scope for design here.
Responsibilities:
You further develop the workplace environment and keep the client and mobile platform technically up to date
You handle packaging and automated distribution of software via Microsoft Intune
You also keep an eye on endpoint security and ensure a stable protection level through patch management
Furthermore, you support services such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams in daily operations
In case of disruptions, you investigate errors and resolve tickets in incident and problem management
Additional tasks include device procurement, onboarding and offboarding, license management, as well as maintaining an inventory list and documentation
Qualifications:
You have an IT education, for example, a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) in system technology or business informatics, alternatively a higher education degree (HF/FH)
You already have practical experience in supporting Microsoft 365 services and Windows clients
Client management, security updates, and automated deployments are part of your skill set
Scripting with PowerShell or a Microsoft certification rounds off your profile
Furthermore, you tackle topics independently, remain technically curious, and keep an overview even with complex error patterns
You are also confident in oral and written German and handle English technical texts well
