Project Manager Architecture (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 120,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced architect for the project management of demanding building construction projects in Switzerland. You will be responsible for planning and implementation across all relevant SIA service phases and combine high architectural standards with sound technical-constructive understanding. You will manage external specialist planners and experts and ensure compliance with costs, deadlines and quality. As the central contact person, you will coordinate clients, authorities and planning partners and lead the projects in a structured manner to successful completion.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management of architecture and building construction projects across all relevant SIA service phases
Responsibility for project design, approval, execution and detailed planning up to realisation
Management and coordination of external specialist planners, experts and other project participants
Ensuring project objectives regarding costs, deadlines, quality and architectural requirements
Further development of design concepts into technically and constructively feasible solutions
Coordination of interfaces between architecture, structural engineering, building services and other disciplines
Professional communication and coordination with clients, authorities, specialist planners and contractors
Preparation and leadership of project, client and specialist planner meetings as well as follow-up of agreed measures
Creation and quality assurance of project, execution and detailed documents
Review and integration of specialist planner, contractor and workshop plans
Application and further development of digital planning processes with Vectorworks or Archicad
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, Swiss building regulations and project-specific quality standards
Qualifications:
Completed studies in Architecture ETH/FH or comparable recognised higher education
At least 5 years of professional experience in the Swiss architecture and building construction environment, ideally with project management responsibility
Solid experience in coordinating external specialist planners and interdisciplinary planning teams
Very good expertise in design, construction, execution planning and architectural detailing
Confident handling of relevant SIA standards and Swiss planning and building processes
Solid user knowledge of Vectorworks or Archicad
Very good German language skills spoken and written
